Today's Re-shoot

Today we got together to re-film some parts of the music video and to film more activities to make our video more fast paced.

We re-filmed some of the fight scene to make it more effective on the audience and  to make it seem more action packed. This took a while as we needed to choreograph it to make sure both characters knew what they were doing.

We also filmed a part of the couple sitting in a car looking suspicious waiting, we originally planned these series of shots in our animation story board but we didn't have time and it wasn't one of the most important shots for the rough cut. We filmed various angles including over Tilda's shoulder in the mirror for an interesting shot.

Then we walked to a near by wall that I had in mind and positioned the camera in a way that would make it look substantially higher than what it was and both characters jumped off onto the ground and ducked to make it look like a higher jump, this was filmed to be used as another action/rebellious shot as the target audience requested more of these shots in our rough cut feedback.

Next we re-filmed the siren scene, we did this at Reece's house this time because there was more space and the pattern of the glass made the lights spread wider giving a better effect. Another reason why we had to re-film this was because of of grain appearing on the footage due to the low lighting. When the sirens we ordered were delivered, we saw that the blue light was more green, so we lent some blue cellophane to hold in front of it to correct it. However, the cellophane dimmed the light so instead we used the flashing light on our phones instead of the blue light, which happened to look better. We spoke to Mr Convery whilst filming our band performance and he told us how to lock the exposure on the camera settings to prevent this.
