Refilming the last bit of the performance

We booked the drama studio out for after school to film the final bit of our performance - which was to get a close up of just Tilda singing the whole song, specifically the longer screaming notes as the ones we had previously weren't in time. Also from audience feedback we were told that these long loud notes didn't look like they were coming from the singers mouth which made it look odd so it was essential we re-filmed these shots.
Again, we borrowed a laptop, extension lead and a projector which Bev and Reece prepared in their free period lesson 5 so we could begin filming straight away when Tilda arrived.
We had pondered on the idea of Tilda singing against the white screen for a while and decided that this time we should try it and see how it looks. With Tilda getting more comfortable with singing out loud, we think that the footage we got looks really effective. This extra performance element adds more variation to the video.
We took this type of shot from an angle either side of the singer, though only the left hand side ones were used in the final cut this is because of the lighting in the studio looked better from the left side and there was no black bars of darkness.
