For our two main characters we wanted them to look like a 'perfect couple' so we tried to create them with similar outfits while still showing there individuality to reflect the Indie Rock music video. We came up with the idea of having them dressed in similar colours, and because we shot the music video in autumn we decided on using autumn colours such as; golds, browns and dark oranges. This related to the colours that will be in the location shots.
We also wanted there to be polar opposites in the music video. This is one of the reasons why we chose to do a male and female couple and not a gay couple as we wanted the juxtaposition of male and female. We reflected this polar opposite theme as well in the outfits of the main characters by emphasising the difference between male and female with the contrast between the floor length skirt and the trousers. Also with dressing the boy in a white polo-top and the girl in a black crop top the contrasting colours symbolise how the boy is purely a figment of the girls twisted imagination.
Reece's character is wearing a swede jacket, Levi jeans, a white polo top and black ankle Doc Martins.
Tilda
Tilda's character is wearing a fur coat, gold floor length skirt, a black crop-top and black Doc Martins.
